Brustbeeren, Jujuben, welche Hagebutten); Z. lotus Lam. (Lotus-Judendorn) gilt für den echten Lotosbaum der Alten. Von Z. spina Christi W. (Christusdorn) in Palästina wurde der Sage nach Christi Dornenkrone geflochten.
